General George Armstrong Custer-- The famous American Cavalry officer who died at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876.

Archduke Franz Ferdinand--The heir to the Austrian throne died with an assassin's bullet in his body. The death of this one man set in motion the events which caused the end of the old order in Europe.

Thomas Nast--"The Father of Political Cartooning", Nast is best known for creating the elephant and donkey symbols representing the Republican and Democratic Parties.

Dr. Benjamin Rush-- Signer of the Declaration of Independence, member of the Constitutional Convention, noted physician and ardent supporter for the abolition of slavery.

William Howard Taft--President of the United States and later Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Lorenzo de Zavala--First Vice-President of the Republic of Texas.
