Falcon and Winter Soldier, Episode 2

Falcon and Winter Soldier Episode 2 (Loved It) Review

The latest installment in Marvel’s Disney+ television blitz dropped into our laps last Friday with Episode 2 of the Falcon and Winter Soldier show. This episode fleshed out more info on the new “Captain America,” while also providing some previously unknown info from the MCU’s past.

We posted a video review on You Tube for your information and enjoyment. We avoid major spoilers for the first 6:00 minutes of the video, and after that, we get into some detail on the “reveal” related to past MCU history that is revealed in the show.

As always, we very much love the continued world and universe-building that goes on in the MCU. Following right after the WandaVision show (it was great!!!), the new Falcon and Winter Soldier mini-series starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan is also stretching the boundaries (no hexagonal boundaries in this show, though…phew!)

In our video review, we look at images from Episode 2, which is titled “The Star-Spangled Man,” as we voice-over with our opinions, and information on the show. In our reviews (which we will post after each new Sam and Bucky episode), we strive to present a spoiler-free (maybe some minor spoilers), for the first part of the video, and then, after a verbal warning, we may get into some major spoiler territory.

When reviewing a show, one goal is to present the original source code (in this video, I flubbed my own phrase on that coding piece-doh!), which of course, are the original comic books themselves. In this review of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we (ok, I), discuss some of the characters we encounter in this second episode and their comic book origins and connections, with some theorizing as to where they may connect in future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies and shows.
