So Many Comics, So Little Time Comics History

The Green, wanna-be superhero version of me.

Hi there, Fellow Comics Fan!  If you are reading this, then you must are visiting my Comics History website and/or my So Many Comics, So Little Time Podcast.  Well then, I suppose I should tell a bit about myself and what the plan for all this geekery.

My name is Roger Lee, and I have loved comic books since before I could actually read!

Fast-forward a few decades, to the age of the internet, where a person can easily and instantly find any fandom they might want, and are able to converse with like-minded people.  After following several social media groups that centered on comic book fandoms, I realized a couple things.

  •  I am older than a lot of my fellow fans (not all of them, but a lot!).

  •  A lot of folks have not read some pretty significant and classic storyarcs in the comics (many of which I read over the years, because, you know, I’m old!)   based on questions and comments fellow fans post online.

  • A lot of older fans are not into current, modern (last five years or so) comics and newer, or re-imagined characters, which is a shame, since there are a lot of good stories out there now.

  • Even folks who have been collecting and reading comics for a very long time have passed over some major storyarcs, because, you know, there are so many comics out there, and so little time to read them all.

That gave me the idea for a website and podcast (and maybe a YouTube channel)  that reviews a story arc or mini-series with recommendations on whether you should read it or not, along with background information on comic book history.

If you find the articles, blogs, posts, and podcasts interesting (or not) please drop a line and/or comment.
