The She-Hulk Story:

The superhero known as She-Hulk holds a unique place in the Marvel Universe of characters. She-Hulk, cousin to the Hulk (Bruce Banner), is publicly known as Jennifer Walters, top-notch attorney for the firm of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway, whose specialty is the growing field of Superhuman Law. As the She-Hulk, Walters is a member of the Avengers, as well as an on-and-off again member of the Fantastic Four.

Walters became the She-Hulk after an assassination attempt (prompted by her legal work), left her wounded and bleeding. Bruce Banner, her cousin, performed a blood transfusion, giving her his blood. The procedure saved her life, but as his blood is tainted with gamma radiation, (this is the radiation that turns him into the Hulk), Jennifer Walters soon transformed into the She-Hulk, a green-skinned female version of her savage cousin's alter-ego. It soon became apparent though, that unlike her unlucky cousin, Walters did not become a raging beast, but instead kept her keen intellect when transformed into the She-Hulk. However, when she is in "Hulk mode," the She-Hulk is a much less inhibited woman than the mild and meek Jennifer Walters. Among the female heroes of the Marvel Universe, She-Hulk is known as quite a partier and a player in the field of sexual encounters. Among her bedmates and lovers are heroes, villains, walking plants, and the occasional werewolf-like creature. Starfox, Juggernaut, Luke Cage, Wyatt Wingfoot, The Man-Thing, and her new husband, John Jameson (Man-Wolf), are only some of her more famous bedroom conquests. Her party favor behavior even got her kicked out of Avengers Mansion by Captain America.

Given the fact that She-Hulk is a tall, powerful and voluptuous green-skinned woman with a fairly low level of inhibition, many of her costumes tend toward the skimpy and risqué. On at least one occasion, She-Hulk's powerfully built naked bosom (visible when her costume could no longer take the strain in the vacuum of space), distracted a cluster of alien villains so effectively, her team-up partner, Razorback, was able to destroy their ship and thus save the day. Her lack of modesty also makes her the occasional target of the paparazzi, who on one occasion successfully took a photograph of a topless She-Hulk as she sunbathed on the roof of a building. Despite these hijinks, she is greatly respected for her keen intellect and for her sharp legal mind.

Her most recent adventures are in relation to her work with the law firm of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway. As a result of legal cases involving the firm, She-Hulk has been transported off-planet to take part in an alien boxing match, been put on trial for messing with the time stream, been made into a babysitter for a budding super villainess named Southpaw, who happens to be the granddaughter of Jennifer Walters' boss! She still works with the Avengers when needed, and, despite her many adventures and romances, she still has time to attend the Thing's poker games.

During the recent Marvel civil war, She-Hulk sided with the pro-government super hero force led by Iron Man. She-Hulk not only represented the much-hated and maligned Speedball in his legal battle with the government, she also appeared on the Larry King show, among others, explaining why so many heroes signed up with the Superhero Registration Act. She-Hulk was present during the attempted assassination of Speedball at the U.S. Capital in Washington, D.C.
