Green Lantern- --1st appearance: Showcase # 22 (October, 1959)

There are actually many Green Lanterns in the universe, belonging to the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force created by the Guardians of Oa. Several humans from Earth have served as a Green Lantern. The first of these human Lanterns was Hal Jordan (pictured below).
