Nicole Bobek (born August 23, 1977) was a U.S. figure skating champion. She was the U.S. Champion in 1995, and won a bronze medal at the World Figure Skating Championships the same year. Bobek gained added notoriety in July, 2009, when she was charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. In June, 2010 Bobek pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiring to distribute crystal meth, The judge in the case ordered Bobek to spend five years on probation for her role in a New Jersey methamphetamine ring. She was also ordered to serve 250 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine, plus additional court expenses.
