Ronnie James Dio (July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010) — American heavy metal singer and songwriter. Dio performed with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, and his eponymous band Dio. He died of stomach cancer at the age of 67.
