Finally, Professional Old Man and Playboy raconteur Hugh Hefner wed his runaway bride, Crystal Harris, in a star-studded, ceremony held at the Playboy Mansion on New Years’ Eve. With the runaway bride “scandal” from their first engagement, Hefner’s empire made significant moolah off of the nude images and pictures of Crystal Harris.

Lindsay Lohan Playboy
With the recent release, both online and in print, of Lindsay Lohan’s infamous Playboy pictures, this Hollywood bad girl continues to dominate the online search results for images of celebrity women. As the new year revolves around to 2012, the big question is whether or not Lindsay Lohan’s bad behavior continues to keep her in the news, or whether she can settle down and resume her acting career.

Hayden Panettiere and her MTV streaker, David Monahan.
On November 8, 2011, Hayden Panettiere was hosting MTV Europe’s award show, when a naked man streaked across stage in front of an apparantly startled Hayden Panettiere. The streaker turned out to be Irish comedian named David Monahan, who performed the nude stunt as a part of the show. Was the sexy young American actress and star of the NBC tv show Heroes truly surprised?

Lindsay Lohan Handcuffed
Lindsay Lohan, the troubled celebrity actress, once again appeared in court for her multiple probation violations. This time the judge ordered Lohan handcuffed and put into a jail cell. Lohan was able to post the $100,000 dollar bail immediately. Two questions remain: Will Lindsay Lohan serve real jail time, and will she continue her self-destructive tendencies?

In September of 2011, Scarlett Johansson’s name appeared in the news as two embarassing pictures of her appeared on the internet. These two nude photos of Scarlett Johansson caused quite a stir in the blogosphere, prompting Scarlett Johansson to order her lawyers to contact websites that posted the photos and give them a cease and desist order and to take the nude photos of Scarlett Johansson down. Both photos appear to have been taken by Scarlett Johansson herself, one shows her shooting the picture over her shoulder in a mirror, with her nude backside revealed. The other picture shows Scarlett Johansson reclining, with her arm extended (holding her cell phone), and the resulting nude photo shows Scarlett Johansson’s right breast. Johansson said that the photos were intended for her husband at the time, Ryan Reynolds, and were not for public consumption.

Alexander “Alex” Steinweiss (March 24, 1917 – July 17, 2011)–Aged 94– A graphic designer known for inventing the album cover.
Magnus Malan (January 30, 1930 – July18, 2011) –Aged 81–South African politician and Minister of Defence (1980–1991). Died of natural causes.
John Shalikashvili (June 27, 1936 – July 23, 2011) Aged 75–Polish-born American army general of Georgian descent. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1993–1997). Died of a stroke.
Nguyen Cao Ky (September 8, 1930 –July 23, 2011)–Aged 80–South Vietnamese Air Force General and Prime Minister of South Vietnam (1965–1967).
Amy Winehouse (September 14,1983-July 23, 2011)–Aged 27. Singer and musician.

Crystal Harris
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, 84, announced his engagement to 24-year-old girlfriend Crystal Harris, a December 2009 Playmate of the Month, with a Christmas Day tweet on Saturday.
“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears,” the twice-divorced publishing mogul wrote. “This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory.”
Hefner, who was the focus of this past summer’s documentary release Hugh Hefner: Playboy Activist and Rebel, finalized his divorce from his second wife, former Playboy model Kimberly Conrad, earlier this year. With the runaway bride storyline, Playboy sold many issues featuring Crystal Harris Images and Pictures.

Actors Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson have filed for divorce in Los Angeles. Court records show the each actor filed divorce paperwork in court on Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences.
