Casey Austin Sheehan (May 29, 1979-April 4, 2004)

Casey Sheehan perished on April 4, 2004 in Baghdad, Iraq, as his army unit came under enemy fire during the (2003-Present). He is best known as the son of Cindy Sheehan, who actively protested the war following his death.

Sheehan joined the army in 2000 and was assigned to the 82nd Field Artillery of the 1st Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas.

Sheehan was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star posthumously. Iraq War
